OUR STORY
Established in 2016, Kalpavriksha Fine Arts (KFA) is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to bringing joy, cultural enrichment, and a sense of fulfilment to our community. Inspired by the Hindu mythology term ‘Kalpavriksha,’ meaning the ‘tree of fulfilment,’ we embody the spirit of this revered tree by spreading happiness through the arts. At KFA, we believe in the transformative power of the arts. We use creative expression as a catalyst for positive change and giving back to society. Through captivating performances, engaging workshops, and meaningful community outreach initiatives, we inspire, uplift, and empower individuals of all ages and backgrounds. We aim to create lasting impact, foster connections, and cultivate a more vibrant and inclusive community. Together, we can create a world where the arts thrive, dreams flourish, and fulfilment finds its truest form.
Meet The Founders
Meera Balasubramanian, Sruti Pegatraju and Shruthi Ramesh.
The three founders of KFA. These three dancers have undergone their Bharathanatyam training in India and Singapore and have performed extensively in many countries. They each have accumulated over 25 years of experience in practising, performing and teaching traditional dance.
They started KFA with the aspiration of bringing the youthβs perspective to the Indian dance scene in Singapore.
